GOOD FLIPPIN’ BURGERS® was launched in 2019 in Mumbai. The brand currently has a total of 34 outlets and rising across Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune with a headcount of more than 350+ employees. With 20 stores across Mumbai, the brand has also made inroads in Delhi NCR and Pune with 11
and 3 outlets respectively. It started with the simple aim of creating a haven for foodies that serves fresh delicious burgers that are priced right. Since then, the burger chain has been flippin’ hearts from one customer to the next, every day across all its outlets.
Founded by three passionate foodies – Sijo Mathew, Sid Marchant and Viren D’Silva who moved from their corporate backgrounds to start an entrepreneurial journey in the food and hospitality industry. Each member brought a unique and varied experience to the table that created synergies adding to each other’s strength. The one aim that bound all of them together was the dream to become India’s most loved burgers. Their individual experiences all added up to creating goalposts to reach this vision.
Under their leadership, GOOD FLIPPIN’ BURGERS® endeavours to ensure burgers are served as they are meant to be – full of flavour, non-messy & delicious. All the burgers are cooked to perfection and deliver a juicy bite. The patty is the hero of the burger and attracts the bulk of the reviews. All the sauces are made in house and each of the sides/ burger has its own special sauce. As the patrons grew, one delicious burger at a time, investors who loved GOOD FLIPPIN’ BURGERS® and wanted to be a part of its growth journey came on board, keeping people, processes, products, and patrons as its key stakeholders. The greatest testimony of the brand’s quality, service and taste is that they are the highest-rated burger brand across every food platform (Zomato, Swiggy, Google) in the city with unfiltered reviews, wherever outlets exist. This includes both old and new burger entrants in the market.
In 2023-2024, the brand aims to expand geographically in Delhi, Pune, and Bangalore with multi-formats that include Cloud, Dine-in, Hybrid, Malls, and Airports. Good Flippin’ Burgers has been building for scale from day one. The current menu includes 14 burgers, 3 hot dogs and 11 sides for vegetarians, non – vegetarians, and vegans alike. Dine-in outlets also serve an entire coffee & shakes menu as well.
The burger chain announced a fresh round of funding amounting to 1 million USD earlier this year. The new round of seed funding was led by Nikhil Bharadwaj Director Kerala Blasters Football Club, Karan Bhagat Founder, MD & CEO IIFL Wealth & Asset Management, Yatin Shah Co-Founder and Joint CEO, Wealth Management business, at IIFL Wealth & Asset Management. Manish Hathiramani, Index Trader Deen Dayal Investments along with Respected names from the Mumbai entertainment industry also participated in this round. These included Kiran Desai (General Council, Netflix India), Vikram Malhotra, Mamta Anand and Vedant Bali.
